GMail isn't just about Gigabytes!!

...................Google's business model is driven by context-based advertising. A mathematical algorithm that sifts through mail content and shows the user a relevant advertisement. The reason why Google mail offers 1 GB is because it doesn't want you to delete mail. The more mail you store, the better the algorithm will work. This is because the algorithm has better chance of understanding context if it can scan through as large a number of messages as possible. A large mail inbox is best suited to this sort of model. This is where there could be pitfalls for those companies that followed Google, as neither Yahoo nor Rediff have changed their email business models........................
Following Google blindly could, therefore, be a dangerous strategy.

Holy Bible!!

A young man was getting ready to Graduate College. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Holy Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book. He never contacted his father again for a long time. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and a wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL. How many times do we miss GODS blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?
If this touched your heart, please pass it on, does not matter what
religion you belong to...the message is for everyone

  • Staying Positive!!

    You have two choices

Jerry is the manager of a restaurant. He is always in a good mood.
When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would always reply,
"If I were any better, I would be twins!" Many of the waiters at his
restaurant quit their jobs when he changed jobs, so they could follow
him around from restaurant to restaurant.

Why? Because, Jerry was a natural motivator.

If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was always there, telling
the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing
this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and
asked him, "I don't get it! No one can be a positive person all of the
time. How do you do it?"

Jerry replied - " Each morning I wake up and say to myself, I have two
choices today. I can choose to be in a good mood or I can choose to be
in a bad mood. I always choose to be in a good mood. Each time
something bad happens, I can choose to be victim or I can choose to
learn from it. I always choose to learn from it. Every time someone
comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I
can point out the positive side of life. I always choose the positive
    side of life."

"But it's not always that easy,“ I protested.

"Yes it is," Jerry said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away
all the junk every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to
situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to
be in a good mood or bad mood. It's your choice how you live your
    life."

Several years later, I heard that Jerry accidentally did something you
are never supposed to do in the restaurant business. He left the back
door of his restaurant open. And then??? In the morning, he was robbed
by three armed men. They want? #123*+!@$%&*~ While Jerry trying to
open the safe box, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the
combination. The robbers panicked and shot him.

Luckily, Jerry was found quickly and rushed to the hospital. After 18
hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from
the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body.

I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how
he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Want to see
my scars?" I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone
through his mind as the robbery took place. "The first thing that went
through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry
replied. "Then, after they shot me, as I lay on the floor, I
remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or could
choose to die. I chose to live."

    "Weren't you scared“ - I asked?

Jerry continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I
was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the Emergency Room
and I saw the expression on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got
really scared. In their eyes, I read 'He's a dead man.' I knew I
    needed to take action."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Well, there was a big nurse shouting questions at me," said Jerry.
"She asked if I was allergic to anything." 'Yes,' I replied. The
doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took
a deep breath and yelled, 'Bullets!'

Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Please
operate on me as if I am alive, not dead'.

"Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of
his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day you have the
choice to either enjoy your life or to hate it. The only thing that is
truly yours - that no one can control or take from you - is your
attitude, so if you can take care of that, everything else in life
    becomes much easier.

    About Life!!

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the
air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit and you're
keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a
rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four
balls family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you
drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked,
damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same.

You must understand that and strive for balance in your life."

    How?

    1. Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is
because we are different that each of us is special.

    2. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you
know what is best for you.

    3. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to
them as you would to your life, for without them, life is meaningless.

    4. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past
or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all
    the days of your life.

    5. Don't give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is
really over until the moment you stop trying.

    6. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this
fragile thread that binds us to each other, together.

    7. Don't be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we
    learn how to be brave.

    8. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find
time. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to
lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to
    give it wings.

    9. Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've
been, but also where you are going.

    10. Don't forget, a person's greatest emotional need is to feel
    appreciated.

    11. Don't be afraid to learn. Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you
    can always carry easily.

    12. Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
