Perspective..

There are two ways to look at every situation in life:

Is the cup half empty?
Or is the cup half full?

It is amazing how our perception can be changed by our attitude.

For example, think about God and then look at these letters.

N-O-W-H-E-R-E

You can assume that God is NO WHERE.

Or you can believe that
God is NOW HERE!

Follow this advice and you can improve your life:

Always remember that you are loved, even when it doesn't seem like it.

Believe in yourself and your values.
Don't sell out when things go wrong.
Don't let anything get you down; always bounce back up.
Set goals for your future and never settle for anything less.
Realize that there are others in the world with much bigger problems than you.
Appreciate the good things in your life, and be thankful for the time you have with your loved ones.
Spend more time with your family and friends.
Appreciate the simple things in life, and don't get caught up in material things.

If you follow that advice you can't go wrong!
So the next time you're looking at a situation in your life:

Is the cup half empty?
Or is the cup half full?

Be an optimist and see the cup as being half full.
Before long, your attitude will rub off on others.
You can make the world a better place by simply making yourself a happier person.

If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.
Here's one to get you started :-)

Have a blessed day!

    A Glass of Milk!!

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way
through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his
nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked
hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then
asked, How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to
    accept pay for a kindness."

He said..... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but
his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and
    quit.

Many years later that same young woman became critically ill. The local
doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they
called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name
of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.
Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at
    once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her
life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for
approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was
sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the
rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught
her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words.....

"Paid in full with one glass of milk" (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God,
that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters
comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you
love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least
you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that
    what life is all about?

    Marble Statue and Tiles!!

There was this museum laid with beautiful marble tiles, with a huge marble
statue displayed in the middle of the lobby. Many people came from all over
the world just to admire this statue. One night, the marble tiles started
    talking to the marble statue.

Tiles : Hey statue, it's just not fair. Why does everybody from all over the
world come all the way here just to step on me while admiring you?

Marble Statue: My dear friend, marble tile, do u still remember that we were
    actually from the same cave?

Tile : Yeah! thats why i feel it is even more unfair. We were born from the
same cave and yet we receive different treatment now. Not fair!

Statue: Then, do you still remember the day when the designer tried to work
on you but you resisted the tools?

Marble Tiles : Yes, I hate that guy, how could he use those tools on me?

Statue : Well, he couldn't work on you, when he decided to give up on you
and start working on me instead, I knew at once that i would be something
different after his efforts. I bore all the painful tools he used on me!

Marble Statue continued: My friend, there is a price to everything in life,
since you decided to give up half way, you can't blame anybody who steps on
    you now.!

Moral : The harder the knocks you go through in life, the more you learn and
put them to use in the future! Donot be discouraged by setbacks and
    failures...!

    A Lunch with GOD!!

    Cupcakes and Root Beer

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long
trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with cupcakes, several
cans of root beer and started on his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he saw an elderly woman. She was
sitting on a park bench watching the pigeons. The boy sat down next to her
and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer
when he noticed the lady looked hungry so he offered her a cupcake. She
gratefully accepted and smiled at him.

Her smile was so wonderful that he wanted to see it again, so he offered a
root beer as well. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted!

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling without saying a word.

As it began to grow dark, the boy realized how tired he was and wanted to go
home. He got up to leave but before he had gone no more than a few steps, he
turned around and ran back to the old woman, giving her a big hug. She gave
    him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy arrived home his Mother was surprised by the look of joy on his
face. She asked, "What has made you so happy today?" He replied, "I had
lunch with God." Before his mother could respond he added, "You know what?
She's got the most beautiful smile in the whole world!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her
son was stunned by the look of peace on her face. He asked, "Mother, what
has made you so happy today?" She replied, "I ate cupcakes in the park with
God." And before her son could reply, she added, "You know, he is much
    younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a
listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring; all of
which have the potential to turn a life around.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

Take no one for granted and embrace all equally with joy!

    Sixth Sense!!

    ---- SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ----

We have 5 senses that we use in many ways:

    1. The Sense of Smell
    2. The Sense of Sound
    3. The Sense of Sight
    4. The Sense of Touch
    5. The Sense of Taste

    Sixth Sense -->

Your sixth sense is a natural function of your right brain. Therefore, everybody has a sixth sense. Some people think you are either born with it or you're not. Actually, everyone without brain damage is born with a sixth sense.

Using your 6th sense is using your intuition. Intuition is a natural way of perceiving things with your right brain.

    Richness Of Life!!

A Tax Auditor came many years ago to a poor servant of God to determine the
amount of taxes he would have to pay.

"What property do you possess?" "List all your possessions, please" the
    auditor instructed.

The poor servant of God replied,
"First I have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Second, I have a mansion in heaven (John 14:2).
Third, I have peace that passes understanding (Phil, 4:7).
    Fourth, I have Joy unspeakable ( 1 Peter 1:8).
Fifth, I have Divine Love that never fails (1 Cor.13:8).
    Sixth, I have a faithful wife (Prov.31:10).
Seventh, I have healthy, happy, obedient Children (Ex.20:12).
Eighth, I have a True, Loyal Friend (Prov. 18:24).
Ninth, I have songs in the night (Psa. 42:8).
Tenth, I have Crown of Life (James 1:12)
Eleventh, I have a Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ, who supplies all my needs
    (Phil 4:9)."

The Tax Auditor Closed his book and said, "Truly you are a very rich man,
but your property is not subject to taxation !"
